New Consultants - Catering All Your Temporary and Permanent Recruitment Needs – Autumn 2011
Once again time has flown by and I find myself wondering where on earth the first part of 2011 disappeared to. Here at AP Personnel we have had some changes along the way which has now left us with an extremely strong team, collectively offering a broad range of skills and experiences. We are all delighted to be surrounded by all this knowledge and energy.
Laura Millen, based in our Jersey office, joined us in 2010 and has fully embedded herself into the life of a recruiter. Until now, Laura has worked purely on permanent placements but is taking on the challenge of mixing this with temporary placements moving forwards, which will give our Jersey clients, seeking temporary staff, a close at hand consultant who is extremely knowledgeable about the Jersey market and who also has a long list of excellent temporary candidates eager to get to work.
Kesh Balleem, joined us earlier in 2011 in the Guernsey office as a permanent recruiter and has spent her first few months with AP Personnel building some very valuable relationships. If you have not yet had the opportunity of meeting Kesh and would like to then please just let us know. Kesh joined us from a management position in retail and therefore has a very good understanding of people and she is thoroughly enjoying combining this experience with recruitment within the finance industry.
Our newest team member is Alicia Robert who very bravely stepped into the very capable shoes of Marie Claire. Alicia will predominantly look after our hard working team of temps in Guernsey but will also be getting involved in permanent finance placements going forwards. Alicia is our 'miss organised' and also brings with her a wealth of experience and has completely hit the ground running.
Moving forwards we hope to be able to help you wherever possible, whether you are looking for a new position, a new employee or simply someone to fill a gap whilst others are on holiday in both islands.
I am very pleased to say that we have just embarked on another team sponsorship and will be sponsoring the "L'Eree Confidential " Touch Rugby team in Guernsey. Alicia has joined the team, much to our surprise, we were all convinced she was such a delicate flower! Anyway, we will be following their progress throughout the season and wish them luck.
Finally, I am very happy to say that we have also been asked to sponsor an award for the Guernsey/Jersey Customer Service Awards which have taken place during the summer. Guernsey's AP Personnel winner was Tracy Merrien at Cherry Godfrey - congratulations Tracy. We are delighted to say that the Jersey awards will take place on Friday 7th October - I hope you have all been voting.
