Job Description

The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility for the day-to-day bookkeeping of the portfolio of clients comprising a mixture of Trusts and Companies formed or registered in various jurisdictions and undertaking a variety of business transactions, e.g. investments, property, consultancy, trading activity and asset holding vehicles. Typical tasks will include: inputting of transactions from source documents by use of double entry bookkeeping onto a computerised programme / reconciliation of bank and brokers statements against bookkeeping records / liaison with Client Services administrators in relation to various accounting transactions / liaison with accounting colleagues in relation to the preparation of year-end accounts. You must have a detailed knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, have the ability to identify potential errors in historic bookkeeping records, be very self organised and have excellent communication skills.
