Flexibility for client and temp
-
The temp gets paid for the hours that they work - nothing more, nothing less
-
Payment is made weekly
-
Temps can provide cover for sickness, maternity leave, compassionate leave or holidays
-
The client can test a candidate on a temporary basis before they commit to offering them a permanent role
-
Temps are normally available at short notice
-
Temps can start almost immediately; the client will not need to wait for paperwork to be completed as is the case when recruiting permanent staff
-
Employing temps keeps the headcount of a company down, as the temp is actually employed by us
-
Temps are not entitled to bank holiday, sickness or annual holiday pay*, thus being a cost-effective resource
-
We administer the payroll, saving the client administration time and costs
-
We pay the employer’s social security contribution, which is covered in the charge-out fee
-
If a temp is placed by us, I, as temp and contract consultant, will deal with any issues that arise
-
We take out references and police checks for all temps employed by us
-
Temps will be on a one-week notice period; thus, easy to exit if necessary
-
Temps are able to step in if a client has a peak workload or a special project or assignment that requires specific skills
-
The client may be unsure whether an increase in their business will be sustained to the extent that they will need a permanent employee; therefore, they can call upon the services of a temp in the interim
-
The client may also wish to recruit a temp while they are waiting for their permanent vacancy to be filled
* Temps in Jersey will receive holiday pay.
