The Swimarathon’s website has been refreshed and revamped by sponsor Sure to make it more user-friendly.
As part of Sure’s support of the event, which is organised by the Lion’s Club of Guernsey and Guernsey Round Table, they have redesigned the www.swimarathon.org site.
It now includes information about the Sure Swimarathon, which takes place at Beau Sejour from 9th to 11th October 2009 and about this year’s new event Swimarathon At Large which takes place at the Baubigny Schools on 9th October.
The site also includes downloadable entry and sponsorship forms, a gallery of photos from previous years, the history of the Swimarathon in Guernsey and the chance for people to donate online.
“The new Sure Swimarathon website looks fantastic and we’re all delighted with it. We hope that it will be much easier for this year’s participants to navigate around it and find the information they’re looking for. We want to raise a record amount this year so that the Lions Club and Round Table can help as many local individuals, organisations and charities as possible,” said chairman of the organising committee Jeff Kitts.
Entry forms for this year’s Sure Swimarathon are being sent to companies and are also available from Beau Sejour, Sure’s shop in the High Street and the Cable & Wireless offices in Upland Road and at Centenary House. Further information is also available from www.swimarathon.org
