Image Group has appointed a new Group Commercial Director to drive the business forwards across the Channel Islands.
Based in Guernsey, Mr Paul Carter will be responsible for business development across both the Jersey and Guernsey offices.
Born and educated in the UK, Mr Carter has now moved to the Island permanently with his wife. He worked in Guernsey between 2000 and 2007 employed as Assistant Managing Director for the Guernsey Press Company and Advertising Director at the Jersey Evening Post until 2005. He was then promoted to Managing Director at the Guernsey Press, whilst retaining his position at the Jersey Evening Post, from 2005 to 2007.
He moved back to the UK briefly and joins Image Group from the West Midlands where he worked as Commercial Director and Deputy Managing Director at Guiton’s UK parent company from 2007 to date.
Mr Carter has a successful and varied track record spanning all commercial aspects of traditional and new media provision and has direct and extensive experience in sales, promotions, marketing and business development planning.
