New Roaming Partner Improves Service For Polish

To coincide with Polish Solidarity Day, Sure has signed a new Pay As You Go (PAYG) roaming agreement with Orange in Poland. This will greatly benefit the local Polish community and those Polish visitors to Jersey.

PAYG customers travelling to the country can now roam onto the Orange (formerly PTK Centertel) network wherever there is network coverage. Any Polish Orange PAYG customers will be able to use their handsets when in Jersey if they roam onto the Sure network

The agreement brings the total number of roaming partners available to Sure PAYG customers to 48, covering 39 destinations - far more roaming destinations than any other local network.

Sure also has agreements in place with 328 operators worldwide covering 145 destinations for Pay Monthly (PM) customers.

Paul Taylor, Marketing Director for Sure, is delighted to announce the partnership with Orange which is another example of Sure’s commitment to excellent customer service.

“We have an impressive existing level of service for our roaming customers and we are pleased to be able to offer further expansion which will benefit the Polish community and other holidaymakers roaming in Poland and Jersey,” he said.

“The ability to keep in touch with home is very important to our customers and we are pleased to offer extensive network coverage worldwide.”

Sure also has roaming agreements in Poland for PM and PAYG customers with ERA GSM and Polkomtel. The full list of Sure’s worldwide roaming networks can be found at www.surecw.com.

It costs Sure PAYG customers just 3p to call Polish landlines from Jersey and 10p to call landlines, far cheaper than some competitor networks.
