Submit Your CV
Please attach your CV here, preferably as a Microsoft Word or PDF file. CVs should be comprehensive (full employment history and education/qualifications) and clearly laid out. When you have registered with us, we will produce our own version, standardised in what we consider to be the most effective way, but obviously it will be based on the information you give us.
Temping
AP Personnel caters for temporary and short or long-term contracts for a wide variety of industries. These can range from a single day taking telephone orders to a 12-month accounting project. We strive to send our clients the most suitable people we have, based on skills and experience.
Training
AP Group has a dedicated division, AP Courses, which provides training either online or in person through specialist tutors. It covers IT (mainly the universally used Microsoft Office applications) and ‘soft skills’ – which help an individual to develop in areas such as communication (verbal and written), team building, leadership and management, when they already have the technical skills.
Work Restrictions
In common with many jurisdictions around the world, in order to control their population levels Jersey and Guernsey have strict rules governing the number of people who can come to the islands to live and work. Employers are required to demonstrate that they have attempted to recruit locally before they can offer the vacancy to candidates from outside of the islands.
Housing licences are issued at the discretion of the local governments, the States of Guernsey and the States of Jersey, which operate independently from one another and have their own laws. Anyone wishing to move to Jersey or Guernsey should find out in advance if they will be permitted to live and work there. See the information at the States websites www.gov.gg and www.gov.je
