AP Group was founded in Guernsey in 1990 and has grown to become the Channel Islands’ largest recruitment consultancy, with departments now dealing with financial, technical, legal and commercial placements. From humble beginnings in a small Guernsey office, AP Group quickly established itself, fulfilling recruitment needs with a fresh and innovative service to the island’s finance and commercial industries. In 1998, the company opened a branch in St Helier, Jersey. It took little time for the Jersey office to achieve the same level of success as the Guernsey branch, and AP Group was soon enjoying prestige as the market leader in recruitment as well as being the largest recruitment consultancy for the Channel Islands.
With long-standing relationships with some of the islands’ leading companies, AP Group has been able to provide candidates with excellent employment opportunities in the commercial sector. However, despite the diversity of jobs available, virtually full employment and a shortage of qualified people in the Channel Islands means that there are challenges in the recruitment industry that need to be solved.
