Meet the Consultants
Stephen Gibson MREC DipRP - Senior Manager
Born and educated in Guernsey, Stephen joined AP Personnel in March 2005 following nine months of travelling. Having previously spent four years working for a retail bank, where he gained valuable experience in several areas of banking, Stephen was promoted to senior consultant in October 2006. In May 2007, Stephen was appointed senior manager of AP Personnel Channel Islands, giving him responsibility for the oversight of teams in Guernsey and Jersey. Stephen passed the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice with merit and in August 2007 completed the Diploma in Recruitment Practice with a distinction, two merits and a pass.

Helen Gillam - Temp & Contract Consultant
Helen was born and educated locally. She joined AP Group in September 2007 after spending a year in Australia working as a recruitment consultant for a boutique agency based in Sydney. During her time there she gained a broad range of experience within the recruitment industry and wanted to bring her knowledge back home to apply it within a smaller market. Prior to this, she spent two years working as a travel consultant, again gaining experience in a sales-orientated environment. Helen joined AP Personnel in September 2007 and passed the REC certificate in recruitment practice’ with merit in July 2008

Shannon Goode MREC CertRP - Recruitment Consultant
Born and educated locally, Shannon spent five years within the global custody field before travelling in South-East Asia and Australasia for 18 months.
On his return to Guernsey, Shannon resumed employment in the finance sector, where he specialised in funds for a further two-and-a-half years.
Shannon joined AP Personnel in October 2007 and passed the REC certificate in recruitment practice with merit in July 2008.

Dominic Heaume – Recruitment Consultant
Dominic spent his early career with one of the world’s leading accountancy firms, gaining the CAT qualification. A Guernseyman who has represented the island at football at the highest level, he then took the time-honoured break to travel to Australia, returning to work temporarily with the same firm before deciding on a change of career with more of a challenge. He joined AP Personnel in 2008.
