Our large international client are seeking to appoint an Accounting Technician to work in their Guernsey Office. You will be responsible for a range of finance tasks including accounts payable, other cost accounting, account reconciliations and other bookkeeping.
Accounts payable responsibilities will include recording and settlement of vendor invoices, maintaining supplier records, as well as liaison with vendors and business owners to resolve issues.
Other accounting tasks will include preparation and booking of journal entries, maintenance of static files and reconciling balance sheet accounts owned by the team.
The role would suit a qualified accounting technician or someone who has developed a similar skillset through experience. You should be highly organised and able to work independently, demonstrating accountability for your areas of responsibility.
