Our client, a well-established Trust and Company organisation are seeking an Assistant Manager for the Compliance and Support Services function to join a growing team.
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Assistant Manager undertakes the full range of client Support Services, ensuring that the business complies with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies / rules. The ultimate objective being to provide assurance to management and protect the Group's good name and reputation.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be expected to undertake any such duties that are deemed a reasonable requirement, for example, help with the annual Compliance Monitoring Program, conducting sample testing of the periodic AML/CFT file reviews, liaising with Directors, Managers and staff on file review matters. Maintaining good working relationships with Directors, other colleagues, third parties and clients.
In addition, the successful candidate will need to collaborate with Compliance and Risk colleagues, act on Breaches, Errors, Omissions and Complaints and aid with regulatory reporting as required. Help with management reporting, monitor the GFSC submission portal for the Company whilst maintaining a good knowledge of the GFSC Handbook.
We are seeking applications from candidates with recent supervisory experience in a regulated finance or professional services role. Someone who is able to demonstrate sound organisation, time management skills and be team orientated with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to communicate to differing audiences from colleagues to senior management and clients. In particular we would welcome candidates with suitable qualifications such as STEP/ICSA and someone who can demonstrate strong IT technical skills.
