Our client is seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer, they are particular interested to hear from candidates who have an interest in risk.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the completion of all operational compliance activities and to work in a number of areas including the establishment and monitoring of our client's-controlled framework, conducting compliance monitoring, assessments and reports and undertaking ad-hoc work.
You will also assist with protecting the business and all its staff as individuals from the risks associated with breaches of the law, regulations and supervisory requirements.
To apply for this role, you will need to have 3-8 years' experience in a similar role, have experience in Compliance/AML and Risk, line Management experience, alongside a relevant professional qualification (ICA, ACCA, STEP, ICSA, etc) or working towards.
You will need to have a good grasp of oral and written English, working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook, excellent communication and presentation skills, alongside project management and negotiation skills. You need to have an ability to manage priorities and multiple deadlines in a dynamic and proactive way, the ability to work autonomously, as well as the ability to work proactively.
