Our client is looking to recruit a temporary Deputy Data Protection Officer in Guernsey working 37.5 hours until 26th January 2024.
The successful applicant will be required to assist the named Data Protection Officer. With support from the DPO, the candidate will provide advice to our client in respect of its obligations under the EU GDPR and all current and future legislation and regulation issued by jurisdictions in which our client has a presence. In addition, the postholder will be required to monitor and provide supporting management information evidencing the Group's compliance with the legislation and the Group's internal business practices, policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of dealing with the requirements of Data Protection Legislation in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man within a regulated industry or business required to follow a wider spectrum of compliance standards or regulations.
Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and written with staff at all levels and customers. The successful candidate will be organised and methodical, have the ability to produce accurate and good quality work with strong ethics and integrity.
