Our client a well-established global pharmaceutical business is looking for a Head of Human Resources for its expanding Guernsey office.
The role is to progressively develop HR and take our client to the next level of sophistication in a people plan and strategy. The mandate includes aligning the business and HR strategy as well as oversight of performance related systems including learning and development, payroll and recruitment.
Additional duties and responsibilities will include coordinating with the Board around the production of all people related strategies for group companies covering organisational change, recruitment, benefits and incentive schemes, staff development, performance management, communications, budget control and health and wellbeing.
This is a really exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a commercially driven organisation with new management who have initiated significant business growth plans.
Suitable applicants must be CIPD qualified or an equivalent with 3-5 years in a management role. Have excellent organisational skills and be commercially minded with a good grasp of business and HR related figures, analytics and metrics.
Other desirable skills will include strong personable communication and influencing skills, command of the written word, flexibility, adaptability, understanding, self-awareness and tolerance.
