An established commercial business is seeking to appoint a Learning & Development Officer to help organise the effective delivery of the strategy for an important area pf the business.
Supporting the Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective inductions for new colleagues as well as monitoring and reviewing their progress throughout this process, as well as identifying training and development needs within the organisation.
Additionally, in this role you will be able to design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and individuals. Produce training material for in-house courses, whilst creating programmes for all parties within the organisation from a variety of differing departments. There will be a need for evaluation of these programmes, problem solving as well as administrative duties to ensure all documentation is maintained and retained as well as adherence to legal compliance and data protection policies.
It is desirable for the successful candidate to be CIPD qualified or an equivalent, have strong interpersonal skills, be skilled in presenting and be a strong written and verbal communicator. It would be an advantage if you are a team player and someone who is proactive, enthusiastic and approachable and proficient with computer skills.
