We have an exciting new role which has become available where you will be responsible for promoting and connecting Guernsey as a leading finance centre in its chosen markets.

This is a great chance to be at the heart of the development of Guernsey's finance sector, from both a strategic and technical viewpoint, working with the senior leadership team at the highest level, helping build the island's future economy.

Working closely with the Executive Team and the Strategy & Technical team, the successful candidate shall contribute to the development of the jurisdictional strategy for financial services in Guernsey through attending and taking an active role in all relevant local industry association meetings and providing updates to the internal teams where relevant, follow international developments and issues that might affect Guernsey, assist with creating a marketing and communications plan for the agency, and devise marketing themes and topics, develop and maintain literature and promotional material, as well as attending and promoting Guernsey at sponsored events both local and overseas.

The ideal candidate will have between 2-7 years of experience in financial services, public policy or project management.

The role could be suitable for a range of people from various backgrounds but the following capabilities would be helpful: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, law, or an equivalent professional qualification, excellent organisational, oral and written communication skills, previous project management experience, a lively interest and enquiring mind, with the ability to interact with industry leaders at the highest level, both on and off island, and to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. In addition, we would expect the successful candidate to be committed to the island and have a sense of community.
