Our client, a well-established Fund Services organisation is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Risk & Compliance function in an expanding team.

Reporting to the Governance, Risk & Compliance Director, the Assistant Manager undertakes the full range of client Support Services, ensuring the provision of robust, respected and knowledgeable regulatory compliance services, including AML/CFT obligations and requirements specific to investment and fiduciary licenses, to ensure that the blend of fund and unregulated investment structures are administered in accordance with best practices.

In addition, the successful candidate will need to collaborate with Compliance and Risk colleagues, assist with the implementation of business risk, governance through effective policies and procedures. Reporting on quarterly compliance AML/CFT matters, keep abreast of regulatory trends, assist in the provision of information to the GFSC.

We are seeking applications from candidates with at least 5 years' experience in a regulated finance or professional services role. Someone who is able to demonstrate sound organisation, time management skills and be team orientated with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. In particular we would welcome candidates with suitable qualifications such as ICA. It is desirable that the successful candidate is able to work with the Microsoft Package, Virtual Boardroom, eDocs, Cezanne and 4-series in this role.
