Our client, a leading global advisory, broking and solutions business, is seeking a Client Support Services Provider, essentially a Book keeper, to join its busy Guernsey based Captive Management team. The right candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to contribute to growth in an international risk and insurance environment.

The principal duties will include but not be limited to contributing to the management of a portfolio of (re)insurance companies. Work closely with the underwriting team to ensure that each of the client companies' reporting and control requirements are met in full and in a timely manner. Reviewing and preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, statistics, liaising with tax advisors. Ensuring that client companies under management comply with GFSC regulations and filing requirements. Maintaining relationships with clients, producing accurate and timely financial and management information to facilitate decision making.

The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain relationships with owner/parent company, regulators, directors, auditors, actuaries, bankers, tax advisers etc, as well as other internal colleagues, so strong interpersonal skills, as well as having strong verbal and written skills are a prerequisite.

It would be advantageous to hold professional accounting qualifications, such as ACA/ACCA, CAT/AAT etc. In addition it would be an advantage to have experience of the Guernsey Regulatory environment, (re)insurance account preparation and the Captive Insurance industry.
