Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical business, is seeking a Finance Administrator to join its busy Guernsey team. To assume responsibility for the day to day preparation of management and statutory accounts and filings at the entity level. The role will evolve according to the business needs and the competence of the individual.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the key duties will include, as well as the aforementioned, reconciliation of the intra-group entries for review, submission of VAT and intrastate returns, VAT accounts, ad hoc reporting and analysis. Additionally, there will be a requirement to undertake bookkeeping for the Group, input of supplier invoicing and VAT invoices to the purchase ledger, attending to queries as they arise.
The ability to communicate workload and issues with others and be an active member of a collaborative team is a prerequisite. It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have a good level of education, be literate with the Microsoft Package, primarily Excel, plus Outlook, as well as knowledge of Navision, Xero, Dynamics GP, Sage or similar other accounting software.
