This leading fund administration provider has an exciting position for an ambitious individual to join the team.
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day to day accounting for one or more assigned structures but will also work with the more senior members of the team assisting as required. You will report to the Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager.
The role will involve the book keeping of transactions and maintenance of accounting records for the client entities. Preparation of accounting output for review by the senior members of the team or client. Prepare quarterly reconciliations of the management accounts and resolving any queries. Preparation of interim and annual statutory accounts in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards. He or she will liaise professionally with internal and external clients and complete ad hoc duties as requested from time to time by the Senior Fund Accountant, all whilst following the company's policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have strong academic background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude and be a great team player with an understanding of the fund administration industry in Jersey, and hold good analytical skills. It is desirable that the candidate will have advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
