Our client a well-established Retail brand is looking for a Human Resources Manager for its busy Guernsey operation. This is a really exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a commercially driven organisation and to progressively develop HR and take our client to the next level of sophistication in a people plan and strategy.
The mandate includes aligning the business and HR strategy as well as oversight of performance related systems including learning and development and recruitment.
Additional duties and responsibilities will include coordinating with senior management around the production of all people related strategies for group companies covering organisational change, recruitment, benefits and incentive schemes, staff development, performance management, communications, budget control and health and wellbeing.
Suitable applicants must be CIPD qualified or an equivalent with 5+ years in a senior HR role. Have excellent organisational skills and be commercially minded with a good grasp of business and HR related figures, analytics and metrics.
Other desirable skills will include strong personable communication and influencing skills, command of the written word, flexibility, adaptability, understanding, self-awareness and tolerance. It is also imperative that the successful candidate be proficient with the Microsoft package, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
