A well-established Fund Services organisation is seeking a Manager to oversee the Risk & Compliance function in an ever expanding team.

Reporting to the Governance, Risk & Compliance Director, the Manager assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the team and their working practices. Liaising with third parties and also building strong working relationships with colleagues across the Group. There is a possibility that the right candidate, depending on experience, could join the Operations Committee and play a significant role as a member of the senior management team, or at least be aspiring to that level within a few years.

In addition, the successful candidate will be required to develop, lead and motivate the Risk & Compliance Team to maximise effectiveness in both internal delivery and client service delivery. Working with the Director, to assist with implementation of business risk.

Additional duties will include managing compliance visits, attending managed licensee's Board meetings and reporting back to the MLRO. Attend training seminars, and maintain staff development in conjunction with the Assistant Manager.

We are seeking applications from candidates with at least 8 years' experience in a regulated finance or professional services role. Someone who is able to be team orientated with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. In particular we would welcome candidates with suitable qualifications such as ICA and someone who has an existing PQ with the GFSC either in respect of a Prescribed Position or as a manager.
