A privately-owned Channel Island trading company requires a Senior Part Time Purchase Ledger Administrator to join its Jersey team.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all supplier accounts are maintained and reconciled to supplier statements, and accounts are paid within agreed terms. Main responsibilities will be to process purchase ledger transactions and supplier claims, raise supplier payments, process stock movements, PL administration, reconcile supplier statements to PL accounts and resolve differences, perform various other duties as required. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail and good Office 365 skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). Candidates must have experience in the commercial industry sector and excellent written and spoken English to allow them to communicate clearly with their business partners and Suppliers. Problem solving skills and the ability to move forward to reach resolutions is essential.
