Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical business, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join its busy Guernsey team. To assume responsibility for the day to day stock requirements, in liaison with all external suppliers.
The key duties will include but not be limited to evaluating information to ensure timely raising and ongoing management of stock orders and all associated requirements. Liaising with suppliers to ensure goods are received in good condition and at the required time. Maintaining professional and diplomatic relations with all suppliers on all open orders and changes in priorities, dealing with problems as they arise.
There is also a requirement to reconcile internal and external stock reports and documents, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Working with the in-house ERP system to ensure accurate input and upkeep of data, proactively managing own workload and time managing regular tasks.
The ability to communicate workload and issues with others and be an active member of a collaborative team is a prerequisite.
A successful candidate will have a good level of education, be literate with the Microsoft Package, primarily Excel to at least intermediate level, plus Outlook, as well as the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system. The ability to be a problem solver, have excellent accuracy, be willing to learn, be a good communicator and have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines will also be an advantage.
