Due to continued growth a new vacancy for a senior fund accountant has arisen within the Jersey office of a global funds company. The key responsibilities of the role are to act as the main liaison and point of contact for a range of clients. This involves Day to day operations of the client and third parties along with adopting UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards for funds and associated entities within PERE. You will also be responsible ensuring that effective cash management of client entity portfolios along with performing reconciliations of key balances on a periodic basis and delivery of periodic reports to clients and regulators. Planning and oversight of annual audits and periodic reviews along with liaising with tax advisors in relation to ongoing tax compliance responsibilities are also a significant part of this senior position.
Suitable candidates will be expected to have sound knowledge of the alternative asset fund administration industry in Jersey and also the ability to manage small teams. A high degree of accuracy is required from the individual as, in order to meet tight deadlines by adopting a "right first time" approach.
