A leading offshore legal practice is looking for an ambitious and technically strong lawyer to join its market leading global Private Capital & Trusts business. The successful applicant will be pivotal in growing its trust practice so as to become the leading practitioners in the Channel Islands.
This represents a truly exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven lawyer, who will be based in the firm's Jersey office. Working alongside leading practitioners in expanding the Jersey private client and trust business in line with the general expansion across all of the firm's practice groups.
The successful candidate will become Senior Counsel in the firm's PC&T practice in Jersey, working alongside two other senior team members, supported by more junior fee-earners.
As a key team member, the successful applicant will drive the development and expansion of client relationships important to the firm's success, at the same time becoming a valued resource to clients. Take ownership of the development of relationships with core clients and participate in business development initiatives.
Be a key resource in the development of the practice's know-how, share knowledge and actively participate in conferences, seminars, client presentations and internal training. Whilst providing technically sound advice and responsive service to clients and supporting colleagues on all client matters. Maintain a sustained record of revenue generation and profitability.
