Our client, a well-established Trust and Company provider has an opportunity for an experienced Trust Officer in Guernsey. This is principally to manage more complex and demanding companies and trusts and to assist in the day-to-day management and clerical duties within a team of trust administrators.
The purpose of this role will be to maintain a close professional relationship with selected clients, ensuring business development opportunities are communicated to senior management. Regulatory compliance, due diligence and procedure review as well as some project management will be a requisite of this role.
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake at least 20 hours of continual professional development activity each year, ideally will already have a good understanding of fiduciary services and be either qualified or close to completing a STEP or NVQ4 or higher qualification. Ideally someone who has at least 5 years' experience in fiduciary services will be looked upon favourably.
It would be advantageous if applicants are self-motivated and committed to business excellence with a strong communicative style, both written and verbal. The ability to supervise and motivate staff and assist with their development is also a requirement.
