Our client is seeking to appoint two Business Administrative Support Assistants to join their team on a part-time permanent basis (working 3 days per week).

The position of Business Administrative Support Assistant is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic business to help deliver a first-class client service. Our client is looking for self-motivated, proactive, and methodical candidates with a flexible attitude and previous experience of working within an office environment.

Individual 1 will need to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 09:00am to 5:30pm 

Individual 2 will need to work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 09:00am to 5:30pm 

Responsibilities include answering phone calls and email management, booking in clients for appointments, ordering stationery and office supplies, as well as maintaining the advertising spreadsheet and keeping it up to date.  You will maintain spreadsheets and keep them up to date, make up client files, obtain and certify client due diligence (CDD/KYC), keep client data up to date, assist with compiling and printing brochures, and undertake diary management.

You will need to be able to provide holiday cover for your other colleague.

You will need to have good organisational and communication (both verbal and written) skills, excellent time management skills, often working to tight and strict deadlines.  You need to be able to serve clients courteously, ensuring highest standards of customer satisfaction is met at all times.  You will need an excellent telephone manner, show attention to detail with good problem solving skills, and be able to use your own initiative, as well as having experience of working as part of a team, within an office environment, working efficiently and effectively to support and meet the objectives and sales targets of the business. 

The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, understand video conferencing tools such as Teams/Zoom to enable pan-island meetings, and good knowledge of the Island of Guernsey and its road names and landmarks, this is essential.
