An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Insurance / Underwriting Manager to join our client's Guernsey based insurance management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to growth in an international risk and insurance environment.
In this role you will assist in the management of the day-to-day delivery of insurance management services to clients and be a primary point of contact. You will maintain on-going relationships with clients, assist with the production of information to be produced to the Board of Directors, and support the team to ensure that (re)insurance companies comply with GFSC regulations.
Our client is seeking a candidate who has (re)insurance underwriting preparation experience, and who wants to progress towards the professional CII Qualification, and / or have 5+ years' experience, and have experience of the Guernsey and or UK regulatory environment. You will need to have excellent communication skills, have a professional outlook and be a good team player, be confident and have a positive attitude, be organised and have the ability to work independently and within a team, and have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
