An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Insurance Manager to join our client’s Guernsey based insurance management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to growth in an international risk and insurance environment.
In this role you will assist in the management of the day-to-day delivery of insurance management services, maintain an on-going relationship with clients and gaining an understanding of the clients’ business and industry, act as the contact for underwriting and claims queries/information for client companies, and support the team to ensure that (re)insurance companies under management comply with Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) regulations and filing requirements, including solvency regulations and various guidelines.
Our client is seeking a candidate who has experience of (re)insurance underwriting preparation, with experience of the Guernsey and or UK Regulatory environment. You will have excellent oral/written communication skills, have a professional outlook, be a team player, with a positive attitude. You will be organised, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
