A leading international provider of corporate, trust, tax, accounting and fund administration services is seeking to appoint a Company Secretary & Corporate Governance Administrator to join their small but growing Guernsey office.
Your role would involve convening and servicing board and executive committee meetings, filing information with the Registrar of Companies for all relevant jurisdictions, ensuring that the companies comply with all relevant laws and their Articles of Association, as well as maintaining the statutory registers and records of each company.
You will remain up to date with best practice guidance and implementing any relevant corporate governance developments, undertake periodic corporate governance reviews, support the provision of information to auditors, regulators and other relevant third parties, as well as keeping up to date with any relevant regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect the companies.
You will need to have experience of writing minutes, have a good level of skill in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, have a good level of written and oral communication skills enabling effective contact at all levels both internal and external, be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of company law in both Guernsey and Jersey.
This role would suit an enthusiastic, confident individual with good presentation and communication skills, you will need good interpersonal skills, have a high level of organisational and prioritisation skills, have a high degree of flexibility and willingness to help, as well as being friendly with a professional manner.
You will need to be ICSA/STEP qualified or have a similar professional qualification or qualified by industry experience.
