A leading global organisation are seeking a Compliance Officer to work in their Trust team. As part of this team you will perform a second line of defence monitoring and evaluation, liaising with front teams and monitoring shortfalls through to conclusion.
In this role you will effectively communicate all review findings to originating business area and management, prepare key periodic metrics for a variety of partners, assist with the building and delivery of the training program for Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and you will be responsible for updating Policies and Procedures and the Compliance Manual.
In order to apply for this role you will have an education to degree level or equivalent or be qualified through experience and you will have preferably completed the ICA International Certificate or Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering and/or Financial Crime Prevention and /or Governance, Risk, Compliance. You should have knowledge of the GFSC Handbook for Financial Services Businesses on Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing will be an advantage, but consideration will be given to knowledge and experience of internationally accepted AML laws, regulations, industry standards and practices.
You will have strong written, analytical, research and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task and successfully complete projects, be an excellent problem-solver, being able to use good judgement. You will be a motivated and flexible individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and have the ability to work autonomously.
