Our client is seeking to appoint a Fund Accountant to work in their Real Estates Department. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager you will carry out routine day-to-day administration and accounting of a substantial portfolio of fund structures for one of the Group's largest clients, under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.
The successful candidate will assist with all aspects day-to-day administration and accounting matters such as calls and distributions, quarterly valuations, monthly and quarterly investor reporting and annual financial statement preparation, bookkeep all day-to-day operations of a variety of fund structures, and prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions. You will also assist with the completion of routine audit queries, prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions, as well as building relationships with key client contacts.
The candidate will be expected to be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Fundamental Skills level or ACA Professional level), you will have some technical financial services knowledge, and strong computer literacy skills are essential.
