Our client has an exciting opportunity for a passionate HR professional to join their HR Business Partnering team in Guernsey on a fixed term contract for twelve months.
As part of their global HR team, you will work alongside their HR colleagues to deliver a seamless, client focused HR service. In this role, your work will be varied and challenging, dealing with generalist HR areas such as employee relations, recruitment and data interpretation and analysis.
You will demonstrate a commercial awareness coupled with excellent organisation and communication skills, and in return, you'll be provided with opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative and supportive environment.
You will need to be CIPD qualified with a minimum of two years' experience in a HR Officer role, preferably within the finance sector, you will need practical knowledge of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and leaver processes, experience of working closely with people managers in an advisory capacity, have a proven ability to learn and use HR systems, and other technical platforms to support effective working. You will need to be able to demonstrate relationship building and communication skills, have a collaborative working style, both with the broader HR team and the business, have a professional maturity including confidentiality and sensitivity in dealing with employee relations matters, as well as an understanding of the Guernsey employment market, including relevant employment and population management laws.
