Our client, a global leader in funds services, corporate governance and related asset services with staff in offices across the globe is looking for a legal account manager to join its team in Jersey.
The ideal applicant will assist the team to administer a mixed portfolio of clients and head up a small experienced administration team.
Handle a portfolio of key clients reviewing transactions and legal documentation. Participate in the periodic reviews of structures as well as oversee the administration staff and clear their action points on periodic reviews. Mentor the junior staff and manage the team to meet KPI's. Manage the quarterly invoicing function and ensure they are paid in a timely manner in order to reach the company's targets. You will also be involved in the directorship of client companies and ensure compliance is correct with all relevant legislation and regulations as issued by the JFSC.
To be eligible for this role you will have a good understanding of the funds industry and hold a professional legal qualification ie paralegal or LLB or equivalent. Have 4 years PQE, including a good track record of team management.
You will show a commercial, service-minded, dynamic attitude and have strong analytical skills and be able to display excellent communication skills. Have good planning and time management / prioritisation skills and be able to work in a team as well as liaising with other departments within a large organisation.
