This job involves providing support to the People and Culture Team in all aspects of the daily operations of the Department including maintaining personnel records, documentation and administering routine personnel correspondence, as well as representing the team in an advisory capacity where appropriate, to take ownership of problems, work collegiately to develop considered solutions, provide ad hoc training and support, and deal with staff matters.
You will be involved in aspects of the monthly payroll, including completion of Income Tax and Social Security returns and pension schedules, as well as the preparation of master documents for salary reviews, budgets etc. and collating information as necessary.
You will assist with the development of office policies and procedures, and bring any anomalies, problems or necessary updates to the attention of the Head of People and Culture.
You will demonstrate a proactive approach to CPD and knowledge sharing, keeping up to date with HR initiatives, trends and legislative changes to support the Head of People and Culture and People and Culture Assistant Manager, in the preparation of data and research for board reporting, and to assist in the planning and implementation of P&C strategic objectives.
