Our client is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to head up their Change Department. Our client is seeking a candidate who is above all are dynamic, enthusiastic and "change-friendly". In this role you will act as an agent of change, in a very busy business environment. People skills are important.
Our client's Project Manager needs to be the one who provides the drive and energy to make things happen. The project environment is subject to rapid change, and an ability to think on one's feet, take responsibility and make decisions is important, as is the need to prioritise and plan one's own and other people's time effectively. Remaining calm under pressure is a definite prerequisite.
The successful candidate will ideally have 2 years project experience of Project Management and/or Business Analysis within a change environment. You will need to have a familiarity with project methodologies such as Prince2 and Agile. Experience in the finance / insurance industry desirable but not essential.
Our client is seeking a candidate who has had exposure to typical business application systems, strong analytical, project delivery and management skills are required, including an understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into deliverable units of change. You will need excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills, and show practical understanding of impact of business change and organisational growth, as well as being a proven stakeholder management and people skills.
