This leading fund administration provider has an exciting position for an ambitious individual to join the team on a fixed term contract.
You will assist the Group Finance Controller with various day to day tasks, preparation of the year-end audit files, review work performed by junior accountants and ad hoc projects as required.
The role will involve assisting the Group Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting requirements (including those for the management accounts, regulatory and tax reporting), preparation and review of book keeping and month end close requirements. Preparation of the year-end audit files, VAT data to be provided to tax advisers for VAT return preparation. You will assist the team with the training of junior accountants when required.
You will be involved with the preparation of management accounts and journals, payroll data monthly, assist with the preparation of payroll and third-party payments.
The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have a strong academic background, demonstrate a full understanding of accounting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, hold strong analytical skills and a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. The candidate will have advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
It is desired that the candidate will have experience using ViewPoint Accounting software with the ability to speak and read French.
