A world leading manufacturer is seeking to appoint a Sewing Technician.

In this role you will fabricate covers for a range of flat and cylinder air bags. Working with the senior machinist, you will ensure covers are completed to meet order deadlines. You will support the management of stock levels with the senior machinist and Factory Manager.

Responsibilities include fabrication to be in line with designs and drawings, visually check work for defects and report to the Supervisor, keep aware of customer orders and if necessary, identify any low or out of stock items to the Factory Manager and/or Supervisor.

You will need to have good manual dexterity, show a commitment to good quality standards, be self-motivated with a demonstrable desire to get the job done right and right first time. You will need good verbal communication skills, and be a good team player with experience of team working.

Desirable criteria is previous sewing machine experience, and / or experience of working in an industrial environment.
