Rer: 47763. Our client is seeking a Supervisor, Relationship Manages Supervision on a permanent/full time basis. The Supervision division's primary function is to oversee the financial services industry to ensure relevant legal obligations and regulatory requirements are met and to judge if they are being run in a safe and sound manner. As part of this we continually assess whether existing or emerging risks, to which Jersey is exposed, are being effectively managed.
The Trust Company Service Provider (TCSP) / Fund Services Business (FSB) team work directly with trust and company services providers, using a risk-based approach to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, and managed through interaction with the businesses it supervises. The team assess regulatory risk and engage with a portfolio of entities to understand the sector, taking the appropriate steps and action as required.
Requirements
This role would suit an individual with strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and appropriate oral and written communication. Knowledge of International regulatory standards, together with an understanding of the Jersey regulatory framework, legal structures, and product offerings is desirable. You should have demonstrable judgement and analytical skills.
Excellent workload management skills, with the ability to work flexibly and adapt pragmatically to competing priorities key requisites for the role.
