Would you like to spend the summer in the beautiful island of Alderney? A unique temporary position is available to work in the hospitality sector. The job will be varied and you will need to be flexible and enthusiastic to fit in with the other staff.
Duties include basic cleaning, collect and wash-up pots and pans, clean food preparation areas and equipment, unload food and equipment deliveries, keep the storeroom organised, remove waste and recycling, and attend staff meetings.
You will need to have the ability to work alone and as part of a team, able to cope under pressure, have a willingness to work hard, be enthusiastic and energetic, alongside an adaptable and flexible attitude.
There is an immediate start date for this role and it will run until the end of September 2021. You will be required to work a 5-day week with 2 days off (shift pattern). This position includes accommodation (max 2 people per room, free Wi-Fi, spacious room) and includes food on duty. The client will also pay for your outgoing flight from Guernsey. Staff discounts are also available off food and beverage.
